Day 15 Who goes? Who Cares?
Eviction night and it seems that Lesley could go. The bullying may have done for her.

I worry about Sam. She just doesn't seem equipped to deal with a group of people like this- any group of people really. There's something missing in her pschological make up that separates her from the rest of the house. A lack of self awareness? Her singing is a sign of this. It's painful to watch her make such a complete fool of herself as she sings with gusto, apparently unaware of the awful sound she is making. I was aghast when I heard her singin 'I Need a Hero' at the top of her voice, alone in the garden, in her bikini, flinging her hair back like a diva... I watched Maxwell, Anthony and Saskia encouraging her to sing and then rolling around in fits of laughter. I don't think Sam understood that they were laughing at her and not with her. That made me very uncomfortable.

Lesley hiding the make up bag and Sam's tears were hard to bear. I know she shouldn't have cried but the lack of understanding and sympathy that this met with is disturbing to me. Sam is still a child... a very small child and Lesley is the big playground bully with her cronies backing her up. I was glad that BB eventually pointed out to her that what she was doing was unacceptable and that at least some of the HMs stood up for Sam. Not everyone can stand up for themselves. Lesley's response of appearing to apologise to Sam without actually doing so... infact she still blames her victim... is classic. A sign of supreme self centredness, where abuse of others can be justified because there's something wrong with them. The abuser can never admit they are wrong or they will have to face up themselves... and their deep seated feelings of inadequacy and self hatred.

Derek's response to Sam in the kitchen when she said, 'OK, you can go now', was bizarre and awful. What does he think he is doing? I feel sure it was an affected response because his face didn't fit the words. I'm still thinking about that one. Was he trying to provoke her? Push her over the edge? Despicable methinks.

I don't like any of them... except maybe grudgingly, just a little bit...Science.
Sam would be better off out for her own well being.

So all I can say is... Who goes? Who Cares?
